Taiwan now has the World's Tallest Skyscraper 

Many news articles are reporting that the Taipei now holds the record for the world's tallest skyscraper. The 101-story structure, called the Taipei 101, is 1,667 foot-tall. It beats the previous record holder, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at 1,483 feet. However, they may not hold this record long, as China is developing the Shanghai World Financial Center will be higher when it is completed by 2007.
