John Carmack, famous for his work with ID Software (Doom, Quake, etc) is now involved in his own aerospace company, vying for the "x-prize" (to be awarded to the first private sector manned flight into space).

His company, Armadillo Aerospace, has alot of very interesting videos which show, not only their activities and successes, but their failures too. Check them out.
